Suffolk County Council
Working closely with Suffolk PCT we are developing 21st Century living environment concepts for patients suffering from dementia. The design solutions work with the consequences of dementia to enable a more independent and fulfilling life. Research into the use of natural daylight and accessible, safe external areas is a big design influence for the model.

Our approach to the provision of on-site nursing care is to break down the notion of 'institution' and create a personal environment for residents, which is also practical for carers.
